January 27, 2013

Good Morning mums and pops!
This week was a little rougher because EVERYONE IS IN MAINLAND! i didnt think it was really that bad around new year. Everyone leaves to go to china. soooo we will be finding.....a lot :) well we do that everyday so no problem!
no but this week was really good. We have a baptismal date for the 16th. her name is serina :) she is amazing. We also have one for march 3rd. she is keanna. so we will get them all prepared! We dont have a whole lot but it is ok! Aberdeen is just different because of the difference in money but there are still so many prepared people. We will just have to find them!!!!
haha that makes me laugh about Logan. I dont even know how long i have. Just try to find him a girl before i get home ok? thanks :) oh and president hawks prother is Gene Hawks and his wife is KC.
so to answer your questions!
we dont really get into homes because it is illegal. We can only go if someone invites us and old members invite us to chang us to rice. haha we actually had another chang out last night with sin family. It was HOT POT! we are not allowed to eat that so they had to chagne it up for us. Hot Pot is just a big pan of boiling water and you throw meat and vegies in it. The reason we cant eat it is because they dont usually cook the meat all the way and us americans always get sick haha.
sister johnson and i like to speak in cantonese but it is a lot of chinglish haha.
my favorite month was probably november because it was perfect weather but i think this month is beating it because CHINESE NEW YEAR! the cherry trees are huge here. They dont have them on the island but they like import them from mainland and they are so pretty! also so many decraions. And the weather is like perfect right now. So i love january! and i hear that feb is a little cold andn then it just starts to get hot again.
I havent used the milk yet but i will! hmmm i dont think there is anything else you need to send!
CHINESE NEW YEAR!
what a wonderful time to be here. all the stuff you see in like the oriental trading company thing is real!!!! the banners and the decorations! they are everywhere. they have like 5 gereration fruit trees and everyting is red and gold. I love it. a ward member gave me a banner that sayd DRAGON HORSE JING SAHN (but in characters of course) and it is just the coolest thing ever. you hang them on the door. It reminded me of when i texted myself in my sleep. the whole rabbit horse big thing haha. It is because i knew i would be going to china. That actually means LUCK here. so yep.
Today we are going to the new year fair in tlwan so ill take some pictures and send them your way! :) i love you!

WOW NATALIE! CONGRATS! :) so fun! and kale! what an army of missionaries! anyone else leaving?

well time to go to the fair!

LOVE YOU ALL :)

January 20, 2014

MUMSIE! hello :)
what a crazy week. to start it off
#1 i was walking on the side of the road the other day and a car got so close to me that it brushed my hair :) haha what a little taste of Hong Kong.
#2 I found a place that just sells turtle soup! And people like it a lot so maybe ill eat some for you mom! and also snake soup. I have been looking for it everywhere! I willll eat that! I hear it is so good and keeps you warm. Jess would love it too :)
#3 I learned how to make chinese new year flowers and white carrot cake (not cake) and some water chestnut goo. Ill be sure to make it for you all!
#4 ASHLEY FROM KWUN TONG WENT TO THE TEMPLE THIS PAST WEEK!!!!!! :) :) these are the miracles of being a missionary.
#5 Everynight i write in my journal and our neighbor really likes his chinese music so he just blasts it. At first i really didn't like it but now it is comforting....kinda like rice. Rice is probably the best thing ever. I crave it.

So i am not sure what the name of the chinese instrument is but....i have never seen anything like it. I think if you googled it it would be the first thing to pop up under traditional chinese one stringed instrument. or something like that.
That is so cool that rachie printed a map! I really don't know of anyplace that i could print off a map. sorry :( but i am still in aberdeen haha. I have been in kowloon and the hong kong island if that helps. I think that sister johnson and i will be together for a while! i always tell president hawks to keep us together and he feels a connection because we are both from eager. I just love president Hawwks so much. He is the greatest example. He is always keeping us in perfect line and does not let us stray from the work. He knows how to really get a message through to missionaries. He is so kind but so powerful. I am so so so blessed to have him as a mission president.

WOOHOO NAT AND KALE! i talk to rex and graham every week and i just love hearing from my cousins :) they are just so amazing. I can't wait to see them again.

I GOT THE PACKAGES TODAY! yep both on the same day :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! hot tamales and reeses and those amazing packates of love and DADS SWEATER! :) :) i am one happy missionary. THANK YOU SO MUCH!  hmmmm so what else happened this week. The weeks are just flying by. I don't really remember what happened this week...or was it last month? I don't know. All i know is that moves are coming up and I DONT WANT TO MOVE! and idont want sister Johnson to move. I love her so much. Really i feel like i am serving with my best friend. And we have already been together for almost 3 months. It is just going by too fast! she just got a "halfway" package from her mom. It is so sad to think that she is over half way don't and she is only 2 months older than me :( but i won't think about it anymore.

Well sister johnson and i are going to try to go ice skating today so we will see how that goes :) hehe.

sister johnson and i were taking some pictures and just wanted to send them your way!
LOVE YA!

January 13, 2014

Mumsie

What Tell? Oh no! I am so sad. I will pray for their family. Oh my goodness. This makes me so sad. Send the Udall family my love.

This week has been very good. So fast though! I feel like time just slips out of my fingers. I swear it has not been 7 months. I feel like I just got here! The language is coming along :) I can preach the Gospel in Cantonese and that is all that matters! When i am out on the streets, it is pretty hard to understand haha. But we have been told to just learn the Gospel right now. I feel like that is all the matters and i understand what i need to. It is crazy to hear from Rachie and my other friends. They tell me that they are already doing great and the language is comfortable now....haha I think that is the 14 month mark here in Hong Kong! So we will see :) The tones just kill me sometimes. They call it a "tone day". That is when you just have a rough day and mix up the tones. Then no one understands what you are saying. mouh mantaih though because i have a companion! I love my companion! Sister Johonson is so incredible. She is so excited to meet you all :)

(and i don't know exactly when the temple will be closing) (and yeah that would be good to just let president hawks decide, i think that the other parents emailed him and asked about the whole picking kids up thing so you could do that or ill ask the other missionaries)

So what happened this week? hmmm Well like i said it just goes by so fast! Oh well we got a fire alarm from our mission office for our house and so we took it around with us that day. And every store we went out of, the alarm went off like we were stealing something. But we didn't think anything of it because someone would always stop a mom or something that was going out at the same times as us and check her kids bags. haha so then we went grocery shopping and we were walking out and the store alarm goes off again and this man comes up to us and just starts telling us that we stole something and made a big scene and was looking through our bags haha. It was like the worst feeling ever! Two little american missionaries just grocery shopping. But it turns out that it was just that dumb ol fire alarm! haha so everyone was just looking at us and our name tags and thinking that we were little siu tauh ge yahn! it was rough!

Oh i have noticed something while being here in Hong Kong. PEOPLE LOVE THEIR FOOD. When i first got here we would do calls at night and people would always just hang up on me because they said they were eating food at the moment. I though it was so mean and i was a little offended. But i have come to realize that they are really serious about their eating time. Do NOT disturb them while they are eating. I think i have taken that little characteristic up too so watch out family haha.

WELL ITS GETTING CLOSER TO CHINESE NEW YEAR!
I love it. It has changed from the "americanish" christmas to CHINESE! all the old people are out on the streets playing that super chinese instrument. It is like a one stringed violin and it makes that high squeaky noise. I bet mulon has it. Anyway, it is GREAT! and they have a whole bunch of traditional chinese food! (which is usually rice and fried stuff). And they do a lot lot lot of burning to the ancestors. They have these paper clothes. Like legit clothes that they buy for the ancestors and then they burn them. Burn them in the houses and in the hallways and on the street and on the sidewalk and everywhere. It is so cool to me! It is just amazing to be a part of their culture. But of course i will share the gospel with them and help them out a little :) but it is so cool. Just they love their family so much and they have to honor the family name and all that stuff that you just think is in the movies. They also really do have those long mustaches that just hang down. I have seen multiple of those...and oh DRAGONS are also HUGE! They love love love them. So i think my dragon dreams really are real. It is all just so cool.

Oh something else. So many people are named jackie chan. Like so many. They just love him so much. That will be the name of my first child. Or Bruce Lee. That is the big debate here. Who is the best? we will never know.

Hmmm. oh so sometimes you will walk down the street and just smell this reched smell. like so bad. Something like dog food and throw up (sorry that is gross). anyway i decided to ask someone about it and it turns out that it is a SPECIAL SAUCE. Yep they eat it. and they LOVE it. I don't think i have tried it yet but that is next on my list.

And i have officially reached the moment where all my dreams are in Chinese! I just think it is so cool!

I alsowant to ask how uncle m is. I have been praying and fasting. And nataliw! Mission?!?!? Sweet!

Well i better get going! Love you all and talk to you next monday ! :)

this is a picture of someone i saw in stanly. They just got married and were going right to mconnals. yep. chinese.

December 29, 2013

December 29, 2013

HELLO!
it was great talking to you all on Christmas :) so good. But then it didnt seem real. I feel like it was just another email haha. Some missionaries were a little sad after calling home but i was just ready to work! Thanks for not making me home sick or anything haha. I forgot to ask you how the chocolate was going! What has happened? You are great moM!

So hmmm i feel like i already told you everyrthing that happened this week.....ummm oh well we ate our christmas pancakes with chop sticks...that was special haha. Then we...oh we made pumpkin cookies! THEY WERE DELISH! I will never take those for granted again :) Oh and for Christmas Eve dinner we went to mcdonnalds. haha EVERYONE eATS IT! it is like the "cool" place to be. So do as the chinese do hai mh hai?

so we have a new investigator named Jessica. She is about 40 and it just funny. She works at some kind of water place....like they put exrta hydrogen in the water and then they call it "Holy Water". They say that it will help your stomach and something else..(I didnt understand the chinese when she said the rest) haha but she decided to give sister Johnson and I some for Christmas. Then she told us we had to drink it within 24 hours. I just thought it was so funny. So that was my christmas present this year! oh and she gave us a rubber water bottle too. It is so hard to drink out of. It just folds on over. Some things they have here in China are so unique.

President Hawks also talked to me this week and told me that his brother just bought a house in Eagar and he will be moving there. SWEET! He is also less active and thinks that President Hawks being a mission president is the stupidest thing he has ever heard (in president Hawks words). So that is my challenge to you! FIND HIM! and GET HIM BACK TO THE CHURCH! Any brother of This mission president has got to be pretty amazing as well. He also told me that his brother needs to see a doctor...so there ya go. 2 birds with one stone :) ill trust that you 2 will take care of that for us haha.

Well i dont have much more to say! OH! other than we met with Ngh Siuje this week and ok it was the best thing ever. The first time we met her she didnt know who Jesus Christ was. She had no clue about religion and it was just a shock to me that she didnt have that little knowledge. So we have been meeting with her for about 2 months now and we decided to teach her about faith. We also watched the Joseph Smith movie and focused on the faith of this young man. Her 2 kids were so amazing and they always bring the spirit. Then at the end we asked her is she believed in Christ and if she believed that Joseph Really saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. SHE SAID SHE DOES!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) what a miracle.  I love er!

December 22, 2013

GOODMORNING!

haha oh mom your emails crack me up! i dont even know where to start when writing you all back. hmmm ok so the day after christmas for me at 10 am is when we have it schedueled. GOOD! and i dont know what you are talking about when you say "so all 4 of us can talk at the same time". but it sounds good. ill buy a phone card just in case it doesnt work out and ill see if i can call you too. and we only have about an hour so not too many questions haha.

ngh siuje is the wonderful woman with the dreams and THEY ARE ALL GONE! :) no more bad dreams. let me tell you that prayer is real and it works! Angela is still planning on being baptized in feb and we have another investigator who realllly wants to be baptized on the 12th of january so we are working hard for that. her name is serina. Kitty So is still doing well and it is just amazing. I love missionary work.

I GOT THE PACKAGE! thank you so much :) I love the reeses and the clothes :) and the scarf was just the cutest little thing! We need scarfs here haha. I really didnt think that it would be cold in Hong Kong. Surprise.

I love the scripture rachie sent dad in 1nephi 21;16. I read it this week and really could feel the love of our Savior. But then i thought that it is also very important to think about His life. Then we need to examine our own. Are we living as the Savior would want us to live? I know that i have so much to change in my life, but i know that it is all possible through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I have started reading the Book of Mormon over asking the question "What is the Atonement"? Just this week I have learned so much about it. I hope that we can all change something this new year so that we can have our lives be a little more likke the Saviors.

So let me just tell you that this week was the best week on my mission. On saturday all 6 missionaries in our ward and some ward members went to a disability home and sang and played games with and talked to the beautiful people. It was one of the best experiences ever. I felt love for them that was so gasam. It really was amazing. They were just so cute and loved our not so good singing. Then this man went up and started dancing some taigit dance and all the people all at once just started singing this old traditional chinese song! It was so cool! I love the Chinese culture! I wish everyone could experience what i am experiencing right now!
Then  after we went there we had to run to west point or saiwaahn to help another ward with their christmas party. We went and there were 12 missionaries all ready to help get people to the party. It was so cool to find people on the street who were willing to go into the chapel to learn about the Savior.
Then right after we had to go back to heunggongjai to help our ward with our christmas party! It was so much fun. We had about 10 people who we reallllly wanted there there! There were games and songs and chinese dances and a lot lot lot of food (boy do we eat). But i think the most amazing part was ngh siuje! She just loved it! She has the 2 most cute kids in the world. They were there and just having so much fun. Ngh siuje is just so shy and humble and she just opened right up and smiled and laughed and just had so much fun! it was so great.
Then yesterday was CHRISTMAS SUNDAY! i cant tell you how many presents and food the ward members gave us missionaries. We have bags and bags and bags of food and gifts. We dont have enought room in our apartment to keep them all haha. I just felt the love of the members so much. Even if i only understand half of what is said, the members here know that we are trying our best and are helping us out so much. It really is the greatest time for missionary work!

ok now the questions. Olivia is doing great haha. She is no engaged. i dont really want to think about my other friends right now haha. This work is all that matters! How is Dustin and Natalie! i hear they are also planning on serving! when does Kale leave?

Oh and just for you mom. I saw an iguana finding this week. I would have sent it home to you but i am a little scared of them. Sorry. but you will love it here becuase i have seen snakes, spotted lizards and iguana looking things! Ok well i dont really have anything else to say haha. I have a lot lot of pictures but have no way to send them on this computer! maybe next week.
talk to you in a few days! :)

-Sister hambreen

oh and sister lee is now with my MTC companion! WHAT!? and i just passed moves haha so i am in aberdeen for 2 more months!

December 8, 2013

this is stanly and then my favorite little chinese/harry potter boy in my ward :)

GOOD MORNING MUMSIE AND POPS! :) :)
Well i would absolutly love those pictures that you sent last email but they are just to big to look at. is there any other way to send them?
so about christmas! We have been told that we cannot skype. just a phone call. But to make it free for us you can call our hong kong phone from skype. andy will know how to do it. our number is 60993094. I dont know the hong kong like country number or anything but that way could work or i can just call you using a calling card. i want to see hudson so bad but id rather keep president hawks rules. but we can call the day after christmas here so christmas day for you. sorry. we can call whenever so scheduel rachie first! :)

So the thing i am grateful for this week is the ornament from UNCLE ERIC! hahahahah it is so funny. just his little face under one of those hats. it pretty much made my mission right there. He is so funny! i am also glad that dad put up new lights. you go dad!

So this week we had such a miracle! We met Angela on  the street and she was just super awesome. She gave us her number and then we reschelueled her for last friday. We saw her and she is the most prepared person i know! She understood and accepted all of the first lesson and then at the end of the lesson we invited her to pray and after she said an amazing prayer, she looked at us and asked why she felt burning in her heart. I didnt know that that stuff really happened.. I mean when i feel the spirit i guess i just take it for granted. She was just so excited and wanted to know why she was feeling warm inside. she said she had never felt it before. Little things like that happen and just make my testimony so much stronger. Angela is a miracle! Then she told us she would be baptized. WOOHOO! now just to teach the lessons haha.

We also have been teaching a members mom who has investigated the church for about 30 years. She just doesnt want to be baptized. so that is our obstical. so we started talking to her about faith and then she looked at my face ( and hong kong weather is not the best for your skin ok?) she looks at my face and just straight up tells me "hey you need to eat more vegetables and drink more water. then you can have a prettier face". haha i mean it kinds hurt becasue she said that but then it just made me love the different culture so much more. I mean the Chinese people are very very honest. They tell people that they are ugly and fat all the time haha but no one gets offended. it is just how it is. So my advice to anyone who thinks they are ugly out there. Eat more vegetables and drink more water. then you will have pretty face. :)

Our other investigator we have been meeting with is ngh siuje. she is so great but is just one that needs a little more help than others. She has been having bad dreams because she reads the book of mormon. well that is what she says. so she has stopped reading the book of mormon. We are really trying to find out how to help her. It is so amazing to me all the differences each investigator has. It really helps me to look at my own problems too and really think about how i can fix them myself. I love being a missionary and being able to recieve revelation on how to help individuals! :)

So we went to visit another investigator and she lives in STANLY! love that place. and she brings out this bowl of oranges. she offered them to us and of course we were like "YES" (not chicken feet or some kind of stonmach) then we go to peel it and she looks at us like we are crazy. Then she just started biting into the peel and eating it like an apple. they wouldnt let us peel it so we choked down a full on orange with the peel and all. that taste was in my mouth for 2 days!

The elders also have an investigator with the name McCool. and someone named Salad.

So now i have an "Eagar story"! so i was in the mission office and i was looking for another letter full of ornaments! I mean i love those little things! What a great idea mom!!! :) so i was looking and i couldnt find one for me anywhere and i was just a little sad and then i thought i saw one for me but then  i read chelsea. So i just shouted "aw who  the heck is chelsea?!" but i accidentally missed the ck and went straight into chelsea and just shouted "who the He**!?" let me tell you that i dont know who heard me but president hawks was there and the other missionaries. I was so embarrassed haha i just didnt know what to do. So now i am known as the cusssin missionary. I didnt even mean to. and i never cuss! Well thats what i get for living in eagar.

Oh and something cool! Our mission office just texted all the missionaries and said that there was a shortage of book of mormons at the mission office! I mean not like it is good but we are just giving them out like crazy! So just think about all the peopl with a book of mormon! i love the thought.

Well i cant wait to hear about what happens next week but i love you all and hope that you have a fantastic week! tell everyone hello and that i love them and i will see them december 2015!

:) <3 sister Hambreemn

December 1, 2013

Jouh Sahn Mahmaa tuhng bahba!
leaihdeah ge hou ma? ngoh hou hoisam ligo sihgaan hai yatgo jitge sihgaan!
Hello! How are you all? A lot of stuff happened this week haha. but first the questions. We can pretty much buy everything here at the store. it is just pretty expensive in missionary money haha. Recipies. Maybe some like rice cooker recipies. they should haave those online right? we just cant look them up. any recipies would be great! oh and pumpkin bread please! we want to try to make one. but we have no ovens so it is a little hard in a toaster. but mouh mahntaih. we will figure it out :)
THANKSGIVING was so great. Our zone went to wan chai (the beautiful chapel), and we had a dinner :) all the missionaries triedd to make something. sister johnson and i were in charge of the fruit salad. Let me just tell you that missionaries need a lot of help when trying to make food. We forgot to wash the cutting board so all f our apples and bananas tasted like garlic and onions. Then the marshmallo and sweet potatoes burnt. then the elders got carried away with the salt and i think 50% of the mashed potatoes were salt. Other elders forgot to cook the corn on the cob and broccoli, and the green bean casorole was....well it was what it was. But let me just tell you that it was the best tasting thanksgiving dinner i have ever tasted! All the missionaries tried so hard and it was great. Then President and Sister Hawks came and talked to us and ate our fruit salad. I just love them so much! Thanksgiving was just so great.
ok about christmas. No one has told us anything about it. We dont know what time we can call and i dont think we can skype. President Hawks is pretty strict on the rules. So i dont think we will skype. But maybe. They said last year he let them "make the choice".  So maybe he will let us skype. Sorry i cant give you more info. I can ask this week because we have zone meeting then tell you next p day!. WOOHOO CHIRSTMAS!
So i was just thinking about that old red sweater of dads that says phillidelphia and i think that is what i want for christmas! :) IT IS SO COLD HERE! and i have no coat and just knee length skirts haha so we are going shopping today. Is that ok? i took some money out and we are just going to buy a couple of warmer clothes. yeah i didnt think that it would get cold here but surprise!
I have gotten some decorations for the cactus and i love them so much!!! did you make them? :) i love love reading the notes from everyone! and dustin is planning on going on a mission too! how cool is that?! i love our family. The cactus tree is looking great and sister johnson loves it :) i hope i can send pictures of it  to you :)
so this week we called a former investigator and she rescheduled us!!! that is a mircale! So we went to stanly island. I dont know if you have heard of it but it is like the place where people get of the cruise if you know what i mean. Well we got there and there was a MEXICAN CONCERT! I have never been tempted on my mission to listen to music because i dont understand it and chinese music is just not my thing, but they started singing balalarabumba! (sorry i dont know what it is haha) and it was so loud and they had steel drums and everything! and we were just trying so hard to teach a lesson like right in the middle of this cruise ship concert..... it was very interesting. Then last night we were studying and we were just in our little office room and we heard this chinese flute and stringed instrument just playing some super cool traditional chinese music. It was just one of those moments that you realize how amazing life is. I love being a missionary. It is seriously the best thing ever. SOmetimes it is super stressful, sometimes you are dissapointed, but i never seem to remember the rough times, the happy ones are the only ones that are sticking! Missionary work is the greatest work!
Oh and madison walker sent me an email about sending my testimony of christ to you for the christmas party. Let me try to send that!

I know that christ lives. I know it. There is no doubt in my mind. I am just a few pages away from finishing the book of mormon and i read it with one question in my mind. "what is the character of chirst"? What has stuck out to me the most is the parable of the "one". Christ shows us in the scriptures so many times his love for the "one". He speaks to the children "one by one". He heals the sick and the lame "one by one". He atoned for each "one" of us. our relationsship with our savior is so personal and so special. I know that i am the "one". I know that He knows me. He loves me, and He died for me. I have come to realize now more than ever His love in my life. I know that His love heals all. I have had to rely on Him and trust fully. And that is the way to happiness. I know that He is Always there and he always cares. He understands us and we are all just so precious in His eyes. He is my Savios. He is my Lord. He is my Redeemer. He is my brother. He is my example. He is my best fried. And just like He has done ffor me, I will stand by Him forever. I love my savior.

I love this gospel and my family and my savior. There is not greater thing we have in this life. I hope you have a fantastic holiday season! I love you all!!!!

November 24, 2013

Hello Mumsie and Pops :)

What a week full of stuff! I never can seem to shove everything into an email. But i try and that is probably why it is really so hard to read and make sense of....but ill keep doing it haha.
ASHLEY AND KAREN GOT BAPTIZED! they were our investigators in Kwun Tong. I wanted to go to the baptism so bad but mhdaak! so Sister Lee just told me about it :) I am so happy that they made the first step to happiness!

This week we got to meet with NGH SIUJE! :) She is a little mom with two of the cutest kids ever! (other than hudsy of course) We had the greatest lesson plan and were so excited to teach this little family (without the dad :( we will get him)! We planned THE PLAN OF SALVATION! what a great one right? We were all redy to invite her to be baptized and just have everything work out perfectly...but as you should know by now...nothing works out exactly the way you planned. The lesson was great! Then at the end i just asked. "so which kingdom would you want to go to". of course i was expecting the celestial of course! Then she just said "i want to go to the jungwihng or the tellestial". We were so confused. We just had taugh a bout family and eternal realationships and the glory of God and living with Him and Christ and so on. Why would she want to go to the jungwihng? Then the Spirit just took over. We started just asking prompted questions. We talked and talked and then it all came down to the fact that she didnt know exactly who the Savior was. It gets me everytime we ask people if they have ever heard of Jesus Christ and they say no. Ngh Siuje didnt know about Jesus Christ. So we shared scriptures and she asked us if we could just meet with her and talk about the Savior more. OF COURSE WE CAN! haha what a special experience it was for us. So we have planned that we will just be teaching lessons about Jesus Christ and His life and I am just so excited! What a perfect topic for missionary work.

We also have a new investigator named Kitty. We were excited to teach her and then she came in and told us that our chinese was really bad and wanted difference missionaries haha. It was funny because i didnt even feel offended. Chinese people are just so honest and i think i have gotten used to it. I hope my chinese improves so Kitty will understand us!

Another thing i love about the chinese people. The way they say their American letters. If they say GPS they will say GP essy. If they say MTR they will say MT ollow. haha Dad i think you will understand what i am saying. I just cant imagine what my accent sounds like!

Another thing. THEY DONT EAT PB&J sandwiches! Sister Johnson and I brought them to church and people thought we were insane.

We also tried to cook eggs this week and so we left them on the stove to boil.......45 minutes later we heard the explosions. haha Mission Lesson #1. Keep an eye on the eggs. and dont forget about them. I think ill be sticking to rice from now on. I cant even boil an egg! Rice cookers are the things for me.

Last night we were going to a members house to teach her mom about the gospel when we walked passed a chinese concert. Their music is.......mmmm lets just say it was rough walking passed it. I think they just like do high little screams into the microphone with chinese gongs and those little stringed instrumetns haha. Look up old chinese music and take a listen. You will love it.

I LOVE LOOKING AT HUDSON! :) He is oh so cute and i am so excited to be an auntie! He does kind of look like everyone i think. What a cutie! Yes mom i have bought a few new clothes. We went to MONG KOK! it was great. I dont really need anything i dont think haha oh except for more of that green facial wash in the big bottle under our bathroom sink. ok so we got new mormon messages and i found one called Earthly Father, Heavenly Father. I will invite you all to look it up on lds.org or youtube or something and wathc it! IT IS AMAZING! Then share it with someone else :) Missionary work is the best and I juslove it so much! HAPPY THANKSGIVING FAMILY!!!! :) I am so grateful to have you and all my friends. I am grateful to be a missionary in china! I have really become more thankful everyday for the things we enjoy in America. We have freedom, family, patriotism, and God. Remember to always be thankful. All day everyday. Be thankful for the trials in life because they are preparing us for our eternal happiness! I love you all and hope you have a fantastic week!
